Psalm 30: 9-12 ” What is gained if I am silenced, if I go down to the pit? Will the dust praise you? Will it proclaim your faithfulness? Hear, Lord and be merciful to me; Lord, be my help. You have turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my heart may sing you praises and not be silent. Lord my God, I will praise you forever.”
I start my first blog with this passage because I am proclaiming Gods Faithfulness
We have all seen or heard of the flying trapeze, the performer jumps from a platform with the trapeze swinging back and forth allowing gravity to work in their favor but if they don’t take that next step in faith to complete this beautiful dance they will just swing back and forth not getting any place and eventually gravity wont be in their favor.
Life is like this, we must move through our fear and have faith in order to take the next step that will lead our life to the next platform. I know that with God’s mercy and faithfulness I can move through the scary places so I can move on to the better things God has for me. I need Him to complete my dance, if I step out in faith I know my wailing will turn to joy and I can live life in true joy. I can just be me and what a free wonderful feeling it is!
