Sunday’s phrase for gratitude was..What small thing happened today that I am grateful for.
I am grateful for my oatmeal, yes oatmeal! I do enjoy oatmeal and on most mornings even at a restaurant I have been known to order oatmeal but Sunday as I sat at my table looking down at my bowl I smiled because not only was it tasty but it was the right temperature and texture with just the perfect amount of soy milk.
I know it seems like no big deal to most but I had in front of me the perfect bowl of oatmeal and I didn’t have to get up and do anything. No one wanted a thing from me. The whole time it I was savoring my oatmeal I was alone it was quiet and I had the most perfect bowl of oatmeal, what a great way to start a Sunday.
