I have taken a very long winter brake but that does not mean I was not busy. I was even more busy but it feels good to get back to blogging.
I am excited to share todays recipe. I know it is crazy to say a healthy brownie but that is what these are. I found a great vegan protein powder and with it came a recipe to try so I am sharing this great recipe that I was given when I bought the powder from a company called Plexus. No I am not a distributor for them I just bought the powder to try, it is great to bake with.
3 Tablespoons of Plexus chocolate lean meal replacement ( I have also used other vegan protein powders and they work just fine)
1 Cup of mashed banana or Apple sauce works as well if you don’t want the banana flavor
2/3 Cup Peanut Butter
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
1/4 Cup of Honey or Agave Syrup
A handful of Crushed Walnuts
In a bowl combine the above ingredients, mix well. Pour into an 8×8 ungreased pan. Bake in a preheated oven of 325 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
