It’s moist, spiced just right, and topped with a quick homemade “mock caramel” sauce that makes every bite taste like fall.

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Grease & flour a bundt pan.
  2. Mix sugar, eggs, applesauce, oil, vanilla, and apples.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, spices, & salt.
  4. Slowly add dry mix to wet; stir well.
  5. Pour into pan & bake 55–65 minutes.
  6. Cool on rack.
  7. For caramel: melt butter, stir in vanilla & creamer, add brown sugar, cook until thickened.
  8. Pour sauce over cooled cake.
